The NAMUR Conference Has Arrived!
The sponsorship enabled Pepperl+Fuchs to present itself as a medium-sized “Global Player” as well as present our complete range of products and services to customers from the process industry. The presentation focused on our strong customer commitment and our constant attention to the requirements formulated in NAMUR recommendations and worksheets from the process industry during product development. Additionally, the presentation introduced the four workshops that Pepperl+Fuchs offers. The following topics were covered:
- SIL – Functional safety in process automation
- Fieldbus and “Advanced Diagnostics“
- DART – Innovation of intrinsic safety
- WirelessHART – Wireless communication
All those participating in Pepperl+Fuchs workshops had to pass through our mezzanine area, which contained exhibits highlighting the main benefits of SIL, DART, ADM and WirelessHART™. We were also able to hold extremely fruitful technical discussions with the hope of opening up a new series of business opportunities.
During the well-attended event, the amount of continuous positive feedback that the 470 participants gave about the presentations and workshops was truly remarkable. A survey of all participants conducted by NAMUR also delivered a clear verdict. Apart from the superior quality of the conference and meeting rooms, the hotel rooms and the outstanding cuisine were judged to have improved considerably compared to previous years. Pepperl+Fuchs received an exceptionally positive evaluation: 80 % of participants evaluated the overall contribution of Pepperl+Fuchs as extremely important and useful; 78 % awarded the overall image of our presentation the best rating “very good”.
We took the opportunity to present Pepperl+Fuchs in the best possible light and can proudly say that we have set the standard for future NAMUR conferences.
